The Blood Moon event consists of three distinct stages:

  • Stage 1 – Blood Moon ID Card reward
  • Stage 2 – Enhanced ID Card reward
  • Stage 3 – Blood Moon Trophy, including the Blood Moon Weather after the event

These community challenges require participants to fulfill specific tasks to aid in advancing the event:

  • Accurately identify ghosts
  • Complete optional objectives
  • Capture photos of Blood Totems

All contributions to the event must be completed at the following locations:

  • Point Hope
  • 42 Edgefield Road
  • 13 Willow Street
  • Grafton Farmhouse

These selected areas fall under the “small” category, favoring players with easier navigation and completion. To participate fully, players should engage with the game during the event while ensuring they complete optional tasks and photograph Blood Totems as an integral part of their gameplay.

Blood Moon Totems can appear randomly across the aforementioned four maps. These distinctive Totems are large and emit a glow reminiscent of the Blood Moon, making them easily identifiable. Given their presence exclusively on small maps, players will find it simpler to locate them due to the limited areas available for search.

Blood Moon Totems may spawn in various locations on any of the aforementioned maps, with players often encountering multiple Totems within a single session. For instance, in one game on Edgefield, Blood Moon Totems appeared in the living room, on the window sill near the dining area, atop the dining table, and even in the boy’s bedroom. On the same map, you could also uncover the Totem located in the girl’s bedroom, the restroom, and the garage.

In essence, players should perform thorough inspections of all map corners while always carrying a camera to snap photos of any Blood Moon Totems they encounter. The most effective way to contribute to the Blood Moon event is to consistently engage with the game and always remember to bring a camera!
