Unlocking the Cat Figurine in Escape from Tarkov: Tips and Tricks

The Cat Figurine, like other rare loot spawns such as Bronze Lions, Ravens, and Horses in Escape from Tarkov, can randomly appear in the game. While they are less common than Horses, they are more frequent than Bronze Lions. To locate Cat Figurines, it is recommended to search in areas where these items are typically found. Here are the most effective locations to find Cat Figurines in Escape from Tarkov.

If you are searching for Cat Figurines, it is likely that you require them to be “found in raid.”Otherwise, you would have already purchased them from the flea market. The most effective method for acquiring these is by visiting rare loot spawn locations. My preferred approach for obtaining them was to go to Interchange before Streets of Tarkov was released. However, Streets of Tarkov outperforms Interchange significantly.

Cat Figurines have the potential to appear both within the camp and inside the adjacent house by the shelves. The Kaban boss is known to spawn in this vicinity, which is also a popular spot for both Scav players and PMCs. If you are fortunate enough to spawn in this location, it is advisable to quickly secure any valuable items and make a swift exit.

Within the vicinity of the residential area, you can find a potential loot spot inside the Hot Mail task building. On the right side, there is a room with a piggy where various items, including stims, may spawn. By climbing up and heading towards the broken hole on the floor, you can access the kitchen where there is another potential spawn point. Additionally, there is a chance for items to spawn both near and inside the oven.

In addition to these spawns, you can also search for loot in general. Duffle Bags and Sports Bags found throughout the Streets of Tarkov may contain Cat Figurines.

There may be some bias, but I typically come across my Cat Figurines, Horses, and Bronze Lions in Interchange. They have been known to spawn in the TT by the shelves, the #11SR key room on the basement floor, and in IDEA near the furniture. These are the usual spots where I search, but you can also try looking in Duffle Bags and Sports Bags, as well as hidden stashes outside the Interchange mall.

In addition to Interchange, the optimal spot is Labs, which can only be accessed with a keycard. Many highly skilled players choose to play on Labs, so if you lack confidence in your abilities, it may be best to avoid this map. The most elite players, who also happen to have the best gaming chairs, are known to frequent this area (you know who we’re talking about). Consequently, playing on this map comes with a considerable amount of risk. However, Labs is also home to an abundance of Cat Figurines, making it a prime location for loot. This map boasts several rare loot spawns, including:

  • Yellow keycard room
  • Roundtable in the middle
  • Two safes by the offices
  • Shelves by the offices
  • Hangar switch room
  • Server room table

There are likely to be additional bags that you can loot as well. However, it is advisable to only play Labs if you are confident in your abilities and have other tasks to complete.

In addition, you have the option to participate in Tarkov Arena and transfer any Lega Medals to the main game.

The Lega Medals can be used to purchase various keys, such as Grumpy’s Key or Shatun’s Key, which can then be used to unlock different rooms. Additionally, you can obtain Cat Figurines and other valuable loot using these medals.
