The Haunting makes a return in Warzone and MW3 Season 6, as Call of Duty celebrates the Halloween season with the return of Michael Myers as an Operator.
This final seasonal update before the launch of Black Ops 6 brings back The Haunting event, introducing new weapons like the DTIR 30-06 alongside a range of horror icons to both games.
Michael Myers, arguably the most iconic character from the Halloween franchise, is featured prominently, and here’s how to unlock him as an Operator.
How to unlock Michael Myers in Warzone & MW3
To unlock the Michael Myers Operator, players must purchase the MW3 and Warzone Season 6 Battle Pass. He is one of the instant rewards, meaning you will have him added to your collection immediately after purchase, whether at the September 18 launch or later in the season.
However, this means that players who typically use the free Battle Pass will be unable to access this iconic character, as he is exclusively available through the Premium track.
In addition to the standard Michael Myers Operator gained from purchasing the Battle Pass, there is also a variant skin which can be obtained by leveling up within the Battle Pass and spending Tokens, but the specific Sector for this variant has yet to be confirmed.
Michael Myers has made previous appearances in Call of Duty, but never as a fully-fledged Operator.
This marks the first occasion that the Halloween villain is featured as a fully playable Operator in the franchise. In 2013’s CoD Ghost, players had the opportunity to transform into Myers through a limited-time mode by completing a Field Order, equipped with the iconic mask, axe, and theme music.
This was inspired by the fan-favorite ‘Mike Myers’ mode that the community has enjoyed for years, where one player, armed with a knife, hunts down the rest of the players in the lobby.
Now, in MW3 and Warzone, players can experience this mode as it was intended, with the fearsome character lurking in the shadows.
Moreover, Season 6’s update also introduces the new Kastov LSW LMG and Aftermarket Parts, which could significantly impact the game’s meta.
