How to Unlock the Warden Archetype in Remnant 2
To unlock the Warden Archetype in Remnant 2, players must obtain the Weathered Mechanism item while exploring the N’Erud region in The Dark Horizon DLC. Please note that this DLC is essential for accessing the new class.
As you navigate to the Withered Necropolis area or reach the Waylaid Conservatory checkpoint, look for a pit near a friendly NPC at the start. Use the glider to descend into the pit, but remember to take a right instead of descending onto the platform.
Avoid the platforms flanking the narrow passage and steer towards the opening by descending further down. After passing through the opening, take a sharp right and stick close to the cliffside. You will find two updrafts to keep you airborne, leading you to a small, illuminated opening on the right, which is your landing spot.
After dispatching the enemies, take the left passageway across a bridge. Defeat the tougher enemy, then proceed down the ramp to locate the Weathered Mechanism on the wall.
Once you have the item, fast travel back to Ward 13 and visit Wallace, located on the crane, to craft the Command Module engram. This will enable you to equip the Warden Archetype as your primary or secondary class. The Warden class is equipped with a drone that can attack, heal, or shield allies in combat. Its Archetype Trait, Barrier, enhances the shield’s durability as it levels up.
