The Warden is the latest Archetype introduced in Remnant 2, thanks to The Dark Horizon DLC. If you’ve acquired the DLC, you won’t want to miss out on this distinctive support archetype. How to Unlock the Warden Archetype in Remnant 2
To unlock the Warden Archetype, you’ll first need to find the Weathered Mechanism in N’Erud during The Dark Horizon Adventure Mode, and then deliver it to Wallace in Ward 13.
To locate the Weathered Mechanism, you must progress in The Dark Horizon until you reach the Withered Necropolis area. Start at the Waylaid Conservatory World Stone and proceed straight ahead, passing by the Gardener NPC.
Once you reach the first glider, glide straight ahead under the archway. Continue down the path without landing until you arrive at the air vents. Here, turn right to find two additional air vents, with the second one leading you to an opening in the cliffside.
Land in this location, eliminate the enemies, and follow the doorway on the left that leads to a lengthy bridge. At the bridge’s end, you’ll face an Elite Robot and some drones. Proceed forward to discover the Weathered Mechanism waiting for you.
Now, return to Wallace in Ward 13 and give him both the Weathered Mechanism and five Lumenite Crystals. He will then unlock the Warden Archetype for you. Additionally, this also grants access to the secret DLC weapon, the Repair Gun, when you start a run with the Warden Archetype.
Location of the Warden Nanoplated Armor Set
The Warden Archetype is incomplete without its unique armor set, the Nanoplated Armor. To find it, return to the Gardener NPC near the Waylaid Conservatory. Instead of going straight, take the ramp on the left side and follow the left path until you reach an edge with a Glider Pad.
Jump onto the Glider, and you’ll notice an opening on the right side of the building above the bridge. Enter through this opening and defeat the enemies inside. You’ll find the Nanoplated Armor set in the room to your left. This armor is relatively lightweight while offering good defensive stats and resistances, making it essential for fans of Light Armor.
