In Black Ops 6 and Warzone, players have a plethora of weapons to discover. For enthusiastic players eager to experiment with new firearms and level them up without extensive grinding, there’s an effective method to unlock and utilize weapons early.
Weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone can be acquired through various means, including the Battle Pass as well as in-game events like the Sirin 9mm. However, for those who lack the time to continuously grind levels, some firearms may remain temporarily inaccessible until you meet the unlocking criteria.
Unlocking and Utilizing New Weapons Early in BO6 and Warzone
To take advantage of this trick, the weapon must have a Blueprint associated with it, available either through the Battle Pass or specific store bundles. If you’ve got a Blueprint, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your loadouts.
- Locate the locked weapon you wish to utilize.
- Use RB/R1 to access the Blueprints section.
- Press Square/X to “equip weapon and open Gunsmith.”
- Your selected weapon will now be equipped, ready for use in matches.
This method appears to be a glitch that has yet to be addressed by the developers, as the option to equip a weapon and access Gunsmith is generally reserved for Blueprints you don’t own.
While this might not be an ideal solution for players who solely engage in multiplayer modes, it offers significant advantages for those who enjoy switching between different gameplay styles.
This glitch allows players to access weapons such as the Krig C or Saug from Season 1 Battle Pass instantly, even without sufficient Tokens. It is also applicable to event rewards, like the Sirin 9mm secondary weapon from the Hit List event.
Although players will likely unlock most weapons eventually—through the Battle Pass, events, or The Armory—this approach provides a valuable head start. Warzone players can begin unlocking attachments immediately, or utilize Zombies mode to enhance their weapons in preparation for multiplayer battles.
It remains to be seen whether this method will be patched in future updates. Given the plethora of new weapons introduced in Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded, trying this trick is certainly worth your time!
