Through a specific ritual, selected Quincy receive unique designations called Schrift, represented by letters of the English alphabet. Each letter signifies a particular ability given by Yhwach through his blood.
Ishida Uryu shares the letter ‘A’ with Yhwach, despite their opposing abilities, The Almighty and The Antithesis. The Almighty has the capacity to alter the future, while The Antithesis can change events in the past. Nevertheless, The Antithesis holds the potential to be more dominant due to its mysterious capabilities, which might even revive the deceased at their peak potential.
In the Bleach TYBW anime, it was previously hinted that Uryu employed The Antithesis to swap Yhwach’s position with a medallion to escape from Kirio Hikifune’s womb during the Schutzstaffel’s battle against Squad Zero.
