World of Warcraft: The War Within – Release date & early access

The highly anticipated game, World of Warcraft: The War Within, is set to launch on August 26, 2024 for PC (Windows & macOS).

The initial installment of the Worldsoul Saga trilogy will be released on August 23, 2024 for players who buy either the World of Warcraft: The War Within Epic Edition or the World of Warcraft: The War Within Collectors Edition.

WoW: The War Within – Story explained

World of Warcraft: The War Within beckons players to explore Khaz Algar, a newly discovered underground realm situated on the farthest reaches of Pandaria’s western coast. There, they will uncover the secrets of the Nerubian empire and the luminous depths of the Arathi underground.

Upon arrival, players will encounter Xal’atath, the Harbinger of the Void, who is mobilizing Nerubian forces to pose a threat to Azeroth. In order to thwart his plans, both Horde and Alliance factions must convene in the capital city of Dornogal to strategize and uncover the Harbinger’s motivations.

The Worldsoul Saga, a trilogy of new DLCs, is set to begin with the release of The War Within expansion for World of Warcraft. Players can look forward to the inclusion of beloved characters such as Anduin Wrynn, Thrall, and Alleria Windrunner.

The implementation of Dynamic Flying in Dragonflight allows players to discover new regions, venture into eight additional dungeons, and participate in the Nerub’ar Palace raid, which brings together both Alliance and Horde defenders.

All About the Earthen in World of Warcraft: The War Within

The Earthen, a titan-forged race made of living stone, can be unlocked as a new playable Allied race in World of Warcraft: The War Within. Upon completing their questline, players can enlist as members of this unique race.

The Earthen race can be fully customizable with gem encrustation, unique beards, and more.

During your journey, you will encounter the Earthen in Ulduar and other areas. However, the society of the Earthen has been confined to Khaz Algar, so you will have to delve into the intricacies of their politics in order to restore the Coreway and explore the depths of Dornogol.

To unlock them in WoW: The War Within, you will need to complete these quests.

WoW: The War Within Expands to Include New Region

The game World of Warcraft: The War Within will take players through four vast zones in Khaz Algar, which is the homeland of the Earthen. The journey will commence on the Isle of Dorn, located off the western coast of Kalimdor, and will lead players into The Ringing Deeps.

Upon arrival, players will stumble upon Hallowfall and continue on to the capital of Nerubian society, Azj-Kahet. Once the Earthen race is unlocked, players can begin their adventures in the capital city of Dornogol.
