Yuki Tabata’s beloved shonen manga Black Clover is back with a double release of chapters. The previous chapter of the manga was published in December 2023. While it was once a prominent series in Sheisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, it later transitioned to the Jump GIGA magazine in 2023.

Following a four-month hiatus, the Black Clover manga has made its return with the release of two consecutive chapters. Chapter 370, titled ‘Charge into chaos’, continues the story from the previous chapter. Amidst the chaos caused by Lucius and his angel army, Asta informs his companions that Lucius is preparing to unleash a formidable spell from above.
Out of nowhere, a massive tree materializes in the sky, causing fear and panic among the citizens of the Clover Kingdom who believe it may signal the end of the world. However, the Magic Knights captains are resolute in their mission to safeguard their nation. Meanwhile, Asta and Yuno embark on a quest to locate the true Lucius amidst a sea of his clones.
A flashback reveals that Asta and Yuno are the only ones capable of defeating Lucius. As they continue their journey to confront him, the rest of the Black Bulls follow closely behind. Meanwhile, Ichika finds herself near Yami, while Nacht unexpectedly encounters his twin brother Morgen in a different location.
Latest spoilers for Black Clover Chapter 371
Chapter 371 of Black Clover highlights various characters, with a particular focus on Mereoleona. Titled ‘Undying Soul’, this chapter stands out as one of the most exceptional chapters showcasing Mereoleona’s character. It opens with her confronting Moris, after all the knights of the Crimson Lions have been defeated.
Mereoleona quickly puts an end to Moris’ mocking by unleashing her powerful Earth Magic: March of the Holy Fools, causing strange creatures to emerge from the ground. In a swift move, she burns them all, showcasing her mastery over fire. She notices that Earth Magic is Moris’ secondary magic attribute, in addition to his Modification Magic.
Moris shows sympathy towards Mereoleona as he mocks her deceased subordinates and proclaims that he will use them for his research. He also boasts about being chosen by God and belittles Mereoleona’s human capabilities.
Mereoleona’s flashback depicts her formidable past, where her strength was unmatched and she struck fear into the hearts of many. However, her determination to become even stronger drove her to train relentlessly, even on her own. Years of hard work ultimately led her to discover the limit of human capability.
Despite her doubts, she was encouraged by her subordinates who were determined to train harder alongside her. As the flashback comes to an end, Feugoleon finally arrives and apologizes for making his sister wait.
“Before unleashing her new spell, Ultimate Flame Magic: Excelitius Leonum, Mereoleona declares, “I won’t wait!”As she casts the powerful magic, the ground begins to tremble and the spirits of the fallen Crimson Lions knights are summoned.”
As Moris remains in a state of shock and denial over the powerful new spell, Mereoleona’s entire body transforms into pure mana. The long-awaited climax of the battle has finally arrived.
Following the release of Black Clover Chapters 370 and 371, the upcoming chapter is expected to be released in August of 2024.
