The chapter opens with Yuji devising a plan to destroy Sukuna’s heart, while Sukuna readies himself to activate his Domain Expansion once more. However, upon spotting Gojo, Sukuna is puzzled by his survival and questions the reason behind it. Soon enough, he recognizes Yuta and expresses remorse for underestimating him. Yuta, having replicated Kenjaku’s ability, has assumed control of Gojo’s body.

During a flashback, Yuta shares his plan, to which Maki objects. However, Hahakr’s condition is that Yuta can only use it as a last resort when all hope is lost. Furthermore, Yuta is limited to using Copy for only five minutes and is uncertain of the consequences, making the stakes incredibly high.

Despite not being able to use Limitless due to his lack of Six Eyes, it is still impossible for him to copy it. Despite Kusakabe’s objection to the plan being inhumane, Yuta is willing to sacrifice his humanity in order to defeat the most powerful sorcerer in history. While Maki and others express concern for Yuta, he reminds them that Gojo also bore the burden of being a monster.

It should be the responsibility of the deceased person to become a monster, as no one else can do so. In a different flashback, Yuta informs Gojo that he will take over his body if he dies. While Gojo is not concerned about the fate of his body, he also has no intention of being defeated.

Despite discussing the matter with Yuta in front of the other students, Gojo quickly dismisses them, not wanting them to witness any violence. He reveals his plan to eliminate the higher-ups in order to prevent another Shibuya incident, and make Gakuganji the highest authority.

Yuta advises Gojo against attempting to transform into a monster on his own once again. Despite this, Gojo reflects on Geto and how he was abandoned. Additionally, the chapter reveals that Gojo is responsible for the deaths of the higher-ups. We also witness Yuta’s state after the battle, as he credits Rika for keeping him conscious, though he is nearing his breaking point. The chapter concludes with Sukuna utilizing Malevolent Shrine and Yuta utilizing Gojo’s Unlimited Void.
