The International, also referred to as TI, is a yearly tournament organized by Valve to wrap up the competitive season of Dota 2.

The 13th edition of the tournament will feature a gathering of 16 top teams from around the world, selected through either direct invitations or successful progression in regional qualifiers.

Last year’s championship in Seattle was marked by Team Spirit’s dominant performance, which ultimately put an end to the Gaimin Gladiators’ previously undefeated record at Valve events.

The International 2024 Prize Pool and Compendium

The prize pool for TI13 remains consistent with previous years, starting at $1.6 million as it has since the inaugural TI held at Gamescom in 2011. However, it is anticipated that the upcoming release of a Compendium will contribute to further increasing the prize pool through crowdfunding.

Despite the lack of confirmation from Valve regarding the release of the Compendium, its release date is still uncertain. In the previous year, the Compendium was released two weeks prior to the event and successfully increased the base prize pool to a final amount of $3.14 million.

We will keep this page current with any new information leading up to The International 2024 Dota 2 championship.
