Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Warhorse Studios’ beloved historical RPG, continues the story of Henry of Skalitz.
In the original Kingdom Come Deliverance, fans were able to fully immerse themselves in an open-world environment and assume the role of Henry, a young Blacksmith’s son seeking revenge.
In April 2024, Warhorse Studios stylishly unveiled the sequel, which appears to be even larger than its predecessor.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Release Date
The release date for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been confirmed as February 11, 2025 by X (formerly Twitter) on August 15, 2024.
The developers have clarified that while the game was originally scheduled for a 2024 release, there is still a long wait ahead. However, they have reassured fans that they have plenty to share before the full release.

The highly anticipated sequel, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, will be available on PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Be sure to add the game to your wishlist on all platforms.
Although the first installment was made for PS4 and Xbox One, there is currently no information available regarding the possibility of the sequel being released on previous generation consoles.

Gameplay
Just like its predecessor, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a first-person action RPG that takes place in an open world. As you explore the game, you have the ability to personalize Henry’s appearance, abilities, and gear, while also partaking in various tasks such as blacksmithing and alchemy.
You’ll be able to use melee and ranged weapons in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Combat will be a major aspect of the game and will offer a visceral experience, giving players the option to engage enemies on foot, on horseback, or through stealth tactics. There will be a diverse range of weapons and combat styles to try out, including blunt melee weapons and ranged options.
Additionally, player choice will play a significant role in the game as Henry’s decisions will shape his fate and influence the way the world responds to him.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Story Details
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will continue the story of the first game, taking place in Bohemia during the early 15th Century. The kingdom is in a state of chaos as invaders ravage the land, causing fear and panic among the people. In the midst of this turmoil, Henry of Skalitz is determined to seek revenge for the murder of his family.
Henry will continue to seek revenge for his family in the sequel.
As a loyal member of the rightful king’s allies, Henry is tasked with accompanying Sir Hans Capon on a diplomatic mission. However, their journey takes a dangerous turn when they are ambushed and come close to death. Together, the two young men face a series of treacherous challenges, putting their abilities, integrity, and bond to the ultimate trial.
The sequel will feature more than five hours of cinematic cut scenes that will fully immerse players in the medieval adventure.
