CReA Studio has announced the upcoming launch of “UNDER 15,”a project to cultivate the youngest 5th-generation idols, ranging from ages 3 to 15 years old.
CReA Studio Audition Show ‘UNDER 15’ Aims to Create the Youngest Fifth-Generation Group
On April 17, CreA Studio revealed their plan to start production of the group in the second half of 2024, with the screening process already underway this month.
Seo Hye Jin, the CEO of CReA Studio, is the mastermind behind the success of “Miss Trot”and “Mr. Trot.”She is also credited with pioneering the new genre “K-Trot”and is now focused on creating an idol group through the “K-Audition”process.
The project “UNDER 15″is an audition program in South Korea that specifically aims to reach youth in 70 different countries.
The objective is to choose members within the age range of 3 to 15 years old, with an expected average debut age younger than that of NewJeans, the current most influential girl group in the world, which is 16.4 years old.
The program’s goal is to form a 5th-generation girl group of “vocal prodigies”who will make a significant impact on the world’s population of 7.5 billion. The members will be chosen without discrimination based on race, nationality, or genre, and will have global activities.
The multinational girl group is predicted to exceed the success of both NewJeans and BLACKPINK.
‘UNDER 15’ To Launch in 2nd Half of 2024 — How Will Participants Be Selected?
Before making their debut, the participants must undergo the “K-Training System,”which is the foundation of “K-Culture.”
The group “UNDER15″is set to choose the Top 10 most talented teenage performers from around the world. These members are anticipated to create a groundbreaking era in K-pop, showcasing their unique charms in visuals, performance, and singing abilities.
In addition to fulfilling the winners’ aspirations of becoming idols, CReA studio will also offer a range of benefits to aid in their development as stars. This will involve providing support for their overseas music education, organizing album releases, producing spin-off shows, and arranging concert tours.
Presently, the recruiting process for “UNDER 15″is already underway, with the finalization of the top 10 members taking place during the launch of the audition program in the latter half of 2024.
The quest for new gems that will showcase their growth stories on the show encompassed not only South Korea, but also various regions in Asia, North and South America, and Europe.
