The upcoming Community Day Classic event for Pokemon Go has been announced, giving players the opportunity to capture numerous Beldum in order to obtain one of the most powerful Pseudo Legendaries in the game.

The Beldum Community Day Classic is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (local time).

Beldum’s Shiny Form

It is possible for Beldum to appear as a shiny in Pokemon Go. This indicates that if you evolve a shiny Beldum, you can also obtain shiny Metang and Metagross. The chances of encountering a shiny Beldum during the Community Day Classic are around 1 in 25 or 4%.

Beldum Community Day Classic Featured Move

During the event or up to two hours after, trainers who evolve Metang will receive a Metagross that has learned the Steel-type Charged Attack Meteor Mash.

In Trainer battles, Gym battles, and Raids, Meteor Mash is known for its impressive 100 power. This makes it one of the top Steel-type attacks in the game, with its energy cost, power, DPS, and duration all well-balanced.

Pokemon Go Beldum Community Day Classic Research

The Beldum Community Day Classic will include Field and Special Research tasks for players to finish.

During the event, players can obtain Field Research tasks by spinning PokeStops, which will involve catching Beldum. Completing these tasks will reward players with Stardust, Great Balls, and extra opportunities to encounter Beldum.

Furthermore, by paying $1 (or the corresponding amount in your local currency), you will have access to the exclusive Special Research story for Beldum Community Day Classic. We will provide an update in this section once the Special Research becomes available.

Bonuses

• During the event, when Eggs are placed into Incubators, the Hatch Distance will be reduced to 1/4.
• During the event, any activated Lure Modules will remain active for a duration of three hours.
• During the event, any Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) that is activated will have a duration of three hours.

How to Get Ready

• Berries should not be discarded as they can help increase the amount of Candy obtained with each catch.
• Ensure that you have ample space in your Pokemon Storage Box.
• Don’t forget to hold onto a Lure Module and an Incense, as their bonuses will last for the entire event.
• If you happen to have excess PokeCoins, consider using them to purchase beneficial items such as Lucky Eggs (for extra XP) and Star Pieces (for additional Stardust).
