After multiple hints and teasers, the official return of Hunter x Hunter now has a set date. Fans can look forward to reading the newest chapter in the near future.
It has been almost two years since we began eagerly anticipating the release of Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401. However, the progress of its creator, Yoshihiro Togashi, has been hindered by health problems, specifically chronic back pain.
Over time, he has gradually been able to resume work on the manga, making progress and building up a stockpile so that readers can once again follow the story. We now have confirmation of the release date for the next chapter.
The publisher announced during the Jump Press livestream that Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401 will be released on October 7, 2024, in Shonen Jump Weekly, along with updates for several other franchises.
Describing this as just welcome news would be an understatement, considering the teasers we’ve received about Yoshihiro holding onto several new installments of Gon’s misadventures. While the exact number of chapters waiting to be released is still unknown, it is safe to say that there will be enough content to keep devoted fans satisfied for at least a couple of months.
Unfortunately, there is no indication of what this could be for the anime adaptation of the manga, although there is a possibility of progress as the story continues to develop.
“After waiting for what seems like ages, one fan expressed on X/Twitter, “Let’s hope this time there won’t be another long hiatus.”Another fan added, “While Jujutsu Kaisen goes on, we can at least be grateful for the return of Hunter x Hunter.”
During the livestream, it was announced that Jujutsu Kaisen will conclude in five chapters. This news follows closely after the end of My Hero Academia, as we are about to witness yet another climax. It seems like there’s no shortage of thrilling endings in the world of manga.
Fortunately, Hunter X Hunter is making its return for the time being, so there is no need to worry. Additionally, we can always count on the consistently entertaining One Piece.
