The creators of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga have announced a new hiatus due to Gege Akutami’s unexpected illness.

The Shinjuku Showdown Arc of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga is currently in its final phase. This highly anticipated arc features the most thrilling fight of the entire series, starting with the epic showdown between Gojo and Sukuna and continuing as all sorcerers join forces to defeat the strongest enemy.

The most recent installment of Chapter 261 introduces a major twist in JJK as Yuta unexpectedly takes control of Gojo’s body. Despite his willingness to sacrifice everything for victory, the upcoming Chapter 262, which is only seven pages long, continues the intense battle.

Despite the bad news, a leaker revealed that Akutami Gege had fallen ill, resulting in a two-week break for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
