Update on Status of 4th Generation K-Pop Group’s Legal Action Against Company

On March 14, NINE.i, a popular K-pop boy group, announced that all of its members, except for Eden, were involved in a legal dispute with their agency FirstOne Entertainment. The group received attention for using the platform Bubble to make this announcement about their legal actions against the agency.

“NINE.i shared that they are currently embroiled in a legal dispute with FirstOne Entertainment. They also expressed their regret to i.ENIN for sharing this update, as they have always been a loyal supporter.”

The statement emphasized that the relationship between NINE.i members will remain unchanged and reassured everyone that the current promotions in Japan will continue as scheduled.

Despite fans’ worries about the group’s status, NINE.i surprised them with a new update on their official X (Twitter) account on June 12, announcing that the conflict had been resolved.

According to the post, the statements were released in Korean, Japanese, and English. NINE.i initially issued an apology to i.ENIN for the concerning situation. They also mentioned that the members are currently in discussions about their future activities.

All nine members of NINE.i are preparing for a new start together. We are currently discussing the direction of future activities, and we will announce it to i.ENIN soon.

We can’t explain the situation fully, but we’re here to inform you that it’s been resolved well. Nothing has been decided on the direction yet, so please wait for the official notice and avoid reckless speculation.

On X (Twitter), the surprise announcement left some fans feeling startled and questioning the group’s specific plans. However, the majority of fans were simply relieved that the group had officially confirmed their status and upcoming endeavors despite facing an obstacle.
