In the Anime Royale tier list above, we ranked each unit based on rarity. Otherwise, each rarity would have its own tier due to the exponential DPS gap between different rarities. For instance, Aligator, Nemo, and Itchy are significantly weaker than Manara, but they provide the necessary utility: Itchy can shred shields and targets air, Aligator slows everything in full AoE, and Nemo is a farming unit.

When analyzing a banner, check how many top-tier units it features and decide if it’s worth summoning. Then, simply utilize the best combination of units available to you. If you want to learn more about each unit, scroll down for their summaries.

S Tier Anime Royale Units

  • Virtual Sniper — A powerful addition to Anime Royale, wielding full AoE attacks with high damage and insane range.
  • Friend — Undoubtedly the best unit, boasting DPS several times higher than mythics, full AoE capabilities, and massive range.
  • Game Master (Serious) — The enhanced version of Game Master, recognized as a top meta unit.
  • Leafy [Fairy] — Possesses cone AoE attacks with excellent DPS and range, though lacking in additional utility.
  • Ulquioro (Second) — One of the best DPS mythics, offering good SPA, large AoE, and one of the highest ranges in the game.
  • Freeze [Final] — A premier end-game shield-shredder with high range and AoE, his long channeling attack makes his SPA feel nearly zero.
  • Alize — Exhibiting impressive DPS for a non-evo mythic and excelling in range, SPA, and upgrade costs.
  • Stabs — The only full AoE mythic capable of targeting flying enemies, featuring multi-hit attacks that stun.
  • Lawlight — The top farming unit in the game, essential for Infinite mode.

A Tier Anime Royale Units

  • Keneki — The top unit for handling shields, becomes one of the best DPSs post-upgrade with high damage and low SPA.
  • Manara — Exceptional range, DPS, and the best DoT in the game, his cone AoE covers much of the battlefield.
  • Jotero — The best support unit with stunning, knockback, and slowing abilities, combined with solid DPS.
  • Game Master — A hybrid burn mythic with substantial DPS and full AoE, effective against shielded foes.
  • Leafy — Offers a decent line attack ideal for shields and performs well without upgrades.
  • Itchy — Considered the best legendary unit due to his efficiency in shredding shielded foes and decent damage.
  • Microw — Recognized for his raw DPS, he can target flying enemies; best used in Infinite mode due to costs.
  • Aligator — The second-best support unit with a full AoE slow and impressive range, but suffers from a higher SPA.
  • Nemo — The best farming unit for Story and raids, rapidly increasing in efficiency.

B Tier Anime Royale Units

  • Geo — A decent legendary option, but overshadowed by Microw and Itchy.
  • Goko Dark — A capable hill unit that can serve until you obtain Itchy, though lacking in multi-hit or burn.
  • Freeze — Excellent for clearing the Story; economical to place with good DPS, capable of hitting flying foes post-upgrade.
  • Ulquorio — Essential for evolution, providing a high DPS and long line AoE attack.
  • Kokoin — Considered the best DPS epic for the Story with a multi-hit attack and low upgrade costs.
  • Klai — Reasonable DPS for an epic with full AoE capabilities when maxed out.
  • Kekeshi — Stuns enemies, possesses solid DPS, and excels in the Story mode.

C Tier Anime Royale Units

  • Zonitsu — Primarily valued for his stun ability, otherwise low in performance.
  • Sosoke (Kirin) — Regarded as the worst legendary, with poor burn capabilities and limited placement.
  • Netsu — A subpar legendary, offering mediocre burn effects without much value.
  • Pickle — A solid epic with multi-hit attack and decent DPS, but limited placement slots.
  • Virtual Swordsman — Among the better rare units with impressive range and full AoE attack.
  • Noroto — The top rare DPS for the Story, affordable upgrades, and effective against shields, but requires support for flying enemies.

D Tier Anime Royale Units

  • Inusuke — The weakest epic unit, lacking in range and compensatory damage.
  • Sosoke — Excels as the best rare DPS for Infinite, featuring exceptional stats and upgrade options.
  • Fire Leg — Strong full AoE unit when maxed, good DPS with shield-shredding burn.
  • Vegetable — Impressive range and multi-hit attack, effective for shield-breaking.
  • Goko — Effective multi-hit unit for dealing with shields.

E Tier Anime Royale Units

  • Virtual Swordgirl — Fails to match the capabilities of other rare units.
  • Ryko — High DPS but costly placement and upgrades reduce effectiveness.
  • Roro — Solid DPS; however, limitations due to small AoE make him less favorable.
  • Tojiro — Marks one of the weakest rare units in Anime Royale.
