Useless Fortnite Attachment Ruining Best Close-Range Weapon

According to Strong_Speed2552’s post on Reddit, the Fortnite community was quick to criticize the unnatural feel of the scope attachment for Shotguns, deeming it useless and calling for its removal.

In response to the post, one player expressed, “I believe they should never spawn naturally with them,”and another player chimed in, “In my opinion, it actually weakens the gun because you can no longer utilize third-person peeks while also tightening the shotgun’s spread.”

Although scopes are typically useful for achieving precise shots from afar, Shotguns are not suitable for long-range shots. However, as this weapon is primarily used for close-quarters combat, it’s important to have unobstructed peripheral vision. A scope can impede your peripheral vision while aiming down the sights.

Most players unanimously believe that the inclusion of a scope on Shotguns greatly diminishes their effectiveness in Fortnite. In fact, many players even take the extra step of removing the scope whenever possible.

If you have acquired a Shotgun with a scope and wish to dispose of it, follow these steps:

Make your way towards any of the numerous mod benches that are accessible on the island.
Interact with the bench and select the scope.
