Vampiric Powers were a highly sought-after addition to Diablo 4 during Season 2. However, since they were only available for a limited time as a seasonal gimmick, they were eventually removed at the end of the season, leaving fans disappointed.
The positive update is that in Season 3, Vampiric Powers made a comeback, but this time they were introduced as Aspects instead of being a seasonal addition.
It is expected that Season 4 will continue to utilize this system, following the trend of previous seasons where Malignant Heart powers remained in place after Season 1. This means that the blood-sucking abilities will be a permanent aspect of Diablo 4. As Season 4 begins, players can access Vampiric Powers in the game.
Vampire Powers are back!
Tips for Utilizing Vampiric Powers in Season 4
Season 2 gave players the option to choose Vampiric Powers from their inventory menu by scrolling to the seasonal powers. These powers can now be accessed in the Aspect menu once they have been unlocked.
In Season 4, several systems for selecting Vampire Powers have been removed. As a result, players must now unlock the individual effects of some Vampiric Powers in the same manner as other Legendary Aspects in the game. One option for obtaining these powers is by using Murmuring Obels to gamble with characters like Kadala in Westmarch.
Similar to Aspect Powers, Vampiric Powers are not obtained by clearing dungeons but are instead included in the overall pool of Legendary Powers. This means that they must be acquired through farming rather than being located in one specific place.
It’s still possible to slay some vampires in Diablo 4.
Which Vampiric Abilities Can Be Unlocked?
Despite there being 22 Vampiric Powers in Season 2 of Diablo 4, only 6 have been retained for Season 3 and are expected to remain in future seasons, including Season 4. However, there is a possibility that Blizzard may introduce additional Vampiric Powers in the future.
The following are the currently available Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4:
- Offensive Aspect of Accursed Touch
- Blood Boil is an aggressive attribute.
- The Defensive Aspect is undying.
- The aspect of mobility in Metamorphosis.
- The offensive aspect of the Moonrise remains unchanged.
- Hectic Utility Aspect
The following paragraph outlines the effects of each Vampiric Power and suggests which items to gamble on in order to increase your chances of obtaining it:
