V Rising’s First Hotfix Addresses Multiple Technical Issues

Even though V Rising was first released on May 8, 2024, players have still been able to enjoy all of the game’s features. However, as with any launch, there were some initial challenges that had to be overcome.

V Rising Hotfix 1.0 Breakdown

As with any full release, V Rising is experiencing mostly technical issues, which is not uncommon. While encountering bugs can be frustrating, the developers have already released their latest hotfix to address these problems. The hotfix will resolve numerous technical issues, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for all players. Here is a detailed overview of all the improvements being made in V Rising.

  • Addressed a problem where players were unable to mount horses while using a gamepad.
  • Fixed a bug on certain PvP servers where the Incursion Events would not run properly, resulting in a delay of 24 hours or more for all events to resume.
  • An issue where a cosmetic item could be salvaged into materials of a higher tier than intended has been resolved.
  • The issue causing the client to crash when utilizing the “Fill Wallpaper”feature in large castles has been resolved.
  • An issue where the Castle Heart Blood Essence drain modifier server setting was not functioning correctly when modified has been resolved.
  • Fixed several issues related to castle relocation that could result in roofs staying in place and preventing the construction of new castles in the affected area.
  • An issue was resolved where saplings/trees that were planted in growing plots within the castle became stuck in an invisible state, preventing them from growing and also blocking the ability to dismantle them.
  • Resolved a problem with rendering terrain that would occur when observing it through the walls of a castle that was in the “disabled defenses”state (PvP).
  • An issue was resolved where changes made to rulesets in the advanced settings menu did not properly update the “save”button, resulting in the need for the player to manually adjust a setting before exiting the menu in order for the changes to take effect.
  • An issue has been resolved where players were unable to save their settings after loading a preset.
  • Fixed a problem with the rim light effect that prevented it from functioning properly on certain unit types.
  • A rendering issue on clouds while in bat form has been fixed.

As stated, the majority of the problems are related to technical issues and the update should already be live, so you will not have to worry excessively about any downtime.

If you experience any problems while playing the game, be sure to refer to V Rising’s list of known bugs and solutions to see if there are any available fixes. If not, report the issue directly to the developers and await the next hotfix.
