On August 1, Riot Games will release a bundle that includes the Valorant Champions 2024 phantom and melee, along with their respective effects and features that have been recently revealed.
Over the years, the high cost of Champions bundles has been justified by the inclusion of unique effects. The 2024 edition remains consistent with this trend.
The latest tournament-exclusive cosmetics will feature unique kill banners displayed at the bottom of the screen. These banners will track the number of kills earned by players throughout a round, filling in the VCT logo. When a player achieves an ace, the logo will illuminate completely.
The VCT logo located on the rear of the gun will monitor the player’s eliminations throughout the game, gradually completing the design after every three kills, with a maximum of 24.

The Champions aura is making a comeback, indicating that the Phantom skin will emit a glow when held by the player with the highest number of kills in the lobby. If the VCT logo is filled in while that player remains the top killer in the lobby, the skin will receive a gold finish similar to that of the Valorant Champions trophy.
The Phantom finisher is equally as impressive, featuring a “supernova explosion”suspended alongside the Champions trophy that displays every enemy the player has defeated.
In addition, players have the ability to use the finisher to shoot down the asteroids that appear and can also stand within it to strike a pose under the trophy.

The other component of the bundle is the melee weapon, a katana. Like the Phantom, the knife also receives the Champions aura and cracked gold texture when the player is the kill leader of the lobby and achieves 24 eliminations.
The melee weapon also stands out from other katana melees in Valorant with its distinct inspect animation and right click feature.
The cost and duration of the bundle have not been announced yet. However, judging from the previous year’s bundles, this cosmetic package is expected to be priced at approximately $60 and will include weapon skins, as well as new titles, banners, and sprays.
