Since its initial release in 2020, Valorant has introduced multiple new Episodes and Acts, continuously adding fresh content and causing countless shifts in the game’s meta. Below are the start and end dates for each Episode and Act that have been released thus far.
In 2024, we were able to play Riot’s tactical shooter on consoles as well. The console beta release in June offered a new perspective on what we already knew. Thanks to the developers, we got to experience the game in a whole new way.

When is the next Valorant Episode?
The upcoming episode of Valorant, Episode 9, will mark the start of Act 1 on June 25, 2024. This exciting arc will bring in new content such as Agents, maps, changes in meta, character and weapon adjustments, improved premium skins, and many other features.
With the release of Valorant on consoles, we can expect to see further improvements for the PS5 and Xbox versions of the game.
