Valorant Players Want Harbor Buff and Have the Perfect Idea

Valorant players are urging the Riot developers to boost Harbor, and they have the ideal adjustment in mind to elevate the Agent’s status in the meta.

The Riot devs face the challenging task of balancing all 24 playable Agents in Valorant. This involves not only maintaining the game’s health, but also keeping it exciting for players.

In every game, a metagame emerges where certain characters, weapons, or strategies are deemed more powerful than others. In the case of Valorant, players currently believe that one specific Agent is in need of some attention from Riot.

Ever since its debut in Episode 5, the water-controlling agent Harbor has not been considered one of the most powerful characters. On May 5, a Valorant player sparked a discussion about the agent’s position in the first-person shooter in a Reddit thread.

In light of his belief that Harbor needs a buff, the player recommended that the developers make some adjustments to the controller’s Cove ability to improve the clarity of when players can shoot through his shield.

The responses to the post suggest that the community is in agreement with the idea. However, a few players believe that the changes should be taken a step further, including adjustments to Harbor’s ultimate and Cascade walls.

“According to one individual on Reddit, the kit would greatly benefit from longer cascade walls and a reworking of the ultimate, potentially making it cost fewer points.”

“In my opinion, his cascade should last 2-3 seconds longer and his ultimate may need some adjustments,”another user commented on the thread.

Despite its consistently low pick and win rate, the community has repeatedly expressed their desire for changes to be made to Harbor. As the highly anticipated Episode 9 update approaches, there is a possibility that we may finally see some adjustments to the map.
