Valorant’s esports circuit has produced numerous top players and thrilling international tournaments, with the latest being the VCT Masters Shanghai. See which teams and players have emerged as champions at Valorant’s largest international events.
The VCT Masters and Valorant Champions are highly esteemed in the world of esports. Every year, teams strive to qualify for these tournaments to solidify their reputation among global competitors, secure prize money, and claim a championship trophy.
Despite being a relatively new esport compared to top-tier competitive titles such as CS:GO and League of Legends, Valorant has already seen multiple teams win international titles. This is thanks to Riot Games hosting several events globally during the short span of the esport’s existence.
As the competitive circuit of Valorant esports has matured and its partnered leagues have been introduced, it has undergone some changes. Typically, teams have three opportunities to win an international trophy in a year, with the inclusion of two VCT Masters events and the Valorant Champions tournament at the end of the season.
The 2024 VCT season will feature three global events: VCT Masters Madrid, VCT Masters Shanghai, and the Valorant Champions tournament.
