The 2024 Valorant esports season’s second Masters event will be held in Shanghai, China, beginning in late May. Twelve teams from the four VCT International Leagues – VCT Americas, EMEA, China, and Pacific – will qualify for the tournament.
The upcoming VCT Masters Shanghai will mark both the first Valorant international competition and the first event of 2024 to showcase 12 teams in China. This highly anticipated event is expected to attract a large number of Chinese Valorant enthusiasts who have yet to witness a VCT international competition or witness a Chinese team emerge as champions.

VCT Masters Shanghai: When does the tournament start?
The VCT Masters Shanghai tournament will begin on May 23 and continue until June 9. It is anticipated that the tournament will follow the same format as Masters Madrid, with a Swiss Stage followed by a double elimination bracket to determine the champion.
The Mercedes-Benz Arena, known for hosting professional Dota 2 and League of Legends events in the past, will be the venue for the final matches.
