Venom: The Last Dance is quickly approaching its release date, and one of the latest TV spots may have revealed a significant cameo featuring everyone’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Even though Spider-Man is currently occupied within the Marvel universe (or will be with the upcoming Spider-Man 4), fans remain vigilant for hints about a potential appearance in the concluding chapter of the Venom saga, The Last Dance.
The excitement stems from a recent TV spot, unveiled on September 28. In this teaser, viewers catch a fleeting glimpse of Eddie disposing of a plate of food while a young boy with dark hair observes him intently (around the 0:05 mark).
Comments circulating online suggest that many Spider-Man enthusiasts speculate this could be a young Peter Parker. Specifically, theories have emerged that he might represent a fresh incarnation of Spider-Man.
“Theory is this is the Uncle Ben and Peter Parker cameo,” mentioned one X user. “Setting up a new Spider-Man.”
“I swear if this is Peter,” expressed another.
Although the connections between this Venom installment and past Spider-Man adaptations have been minimal (with the most significant reference occurring at the end of Let There Be Carnage), there are potential avenues for Venom to finally interact with Spider-Man.
For starters, Venom resides within the Sony Spider-Man Universe, leaving the possibility open for Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker to make an appearance.
Equally, Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker remains a viable option, especially since he has an actual visual cameo in Let There Be Carnage.

Conversely, some comments reflect skepticism about yet another iteration of Peter appearing in the Sony universe.
“Please don’t be Peter,” a user pleaded.
As another user pointed out: “Random kid with brown hair in a Marvel film: exists. People: ‘Oooh me gawsh!! It’s Petor Parkour!!’”
