On the 14th, JTBC’s show “Crime Chief”featured an insightful interview with a minor fan who had previously requested a photo from Jessi, alongside the fan’s mother. They shared their thoughts following Jessi’s recent public apology.
Earlier, on October 11th, “Crime Chief”disclosed that the minor fan had suffered an assault after asking Jessi for a photograph. This incident took place on the 29th of last month when Jessi kindly turned down the fan’s request, leading to an unprovoked attack from an unknown individual.
Reports indicated that during the assault, Jessi left the scene without taking any action. Jessi’s team later claimed that “Jessi and the attacker are strangers and have no connection.”
In reaction to Jessi’s statement, the victim’s mother expressed her frustration, stating, “I saw the apology right away, but it appears to be just her trying to make excuses. Claiming ‘They’re not associated. The attacker appeared out of nowhere’ is confusing. My child witnessed them together. When Jessi stood up, she attempted to reach for him (the attacker) but failed. Then, she merely stood by as he struck my child. To say ‘I don’t know him. He suddenly attacked’ is absolutely infuriating.”
The victim also shared their perspective on the apology, commenting, “It doesn’t feel like she’s truly reflecting on what happened. The use of the term ‘moral responsibility’ right from the start indicates a lack of genuine remorse.”
Furthermore, the victim accused a producer, known as “Koala,” who has worked with Jessi multiple times, of physically confronting them prior to the main incident. They recounted, “When (producer Koala) first approached me, he punched me in the stomach twice and forcibly pushed his head into me.”
The victim continued, stating, “When he was with his friends, I overheard them mention a gang. Observing their unusual walking style and body language prompted me to research Koala online. It seems he may be linked to a Korean gang.”
In response to these serious allegations, Jessi’s legal representative communicated with “Crime Chief,”insisting, “Koala has worked on music projects with Jessi, but she has no ties to any gang. We have no information regarding Koala and any gang affiliation.”
Reports have also surfaced indicating that the male attacker is known to Koala.
