Do Han-se posted on his personal account on May 10th, stating, “Out of nowhere, I found myself in the role of a whistleblower or revealer. Despite this, I was able to complete team tasks with joy and had a great sense of job fulfillment during that period.”
Despite the many challenges and hardships, he reflected, “Those past activities hold a special place in my heart, even the difficult and painful moments.”He urged others not to pass judgement based solely on selected quotes and conversations from the fan communication channel.
Although he stressed, “I want to clarify that my statement was not meant as a generalization. It was not directed towards my team or meant to be unfair. I was not asking for understanding or expressing my own struggles. In today’s society, who hasn’t faced difficult times or has no stories to share? Everyone, including myself, you, him, and her, could benefit from some words of encouragement.”
Do Han-se had previously sparked a heated debate on the internet by using the paid communication platform Bubble to reveal the truth behind idol groups’ music show appearances. He claimed that despite spending 10 million won on promotions for a week on these shows, the appearance fee for idols is only 50,000 won. He also stated that most idols accumulate debt and receive little to no payment for their work.
In 2016, Do Han-se made his debut with VICTON. After his contract expired in April of last year, he left his agency and has been pursuing a solo career under his current agency, The Dial Music.
