[VIDEO] BIGBANG Reunites as Full Group During Taeyang’s Concert

After a long wait, BIGBANG has finally returned to the stage as a group, much to the excitement of their devoted fandom, VIPs. Could this be a hint at a potential comeback?

Taeyang’s two-day concert as part of his 2024 TOUR “THE LIGHT YEAR”was held at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park in Seoul on Aug. 31st and Sept. 1st. He delighted VIPs (fans) with his flawless singing and dancing, showcasing why he is considered one of the most iconic idols.

During the event, VIPs unquestionably had a great time watching all of Taeyang’s performances, but the moment that really got fans screaming with joy was when the BIGBANG members made a surprise appearance as special guests, finally giving fans the long-awaited reunion they had been hoping for.

On the opening day, Daesung teamed up with Taeyang to adorn the “A Fool of Tears”stage, with the latter providing beautiful piano accompaniment. The audience was moved and even the two artists felt a strong sense of nostalgia for their partnership. Daesung expressed his sentiments, saying:

“It’s a historic day. I was so touched, and I cried when I heard the piano performance and my brother’s voice behind me. I held back my tears and came down. I almost became a fool who only sheds tears.”

On that same day, the pair also delighted fans by performing Daesung’s solo track, “Wings,”as well as the group’s popular songs, “BANG BANG BANG,””FANTASTIC BABY,”and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY,”with the addition of Taeyang.

Although the duo’s presence was satisfactory for VIPs, fans were taken aback when G-Dragon showed up on the second day and put on a performance of “GOOD BOY”as the duo GD X TAEYANG.

As they finished their performance, the two embraced, causing many VIPs to become emotional. Daesung then joined them with renditions of their popular songs from the previous day.

Following the concert, Taeyang took to social media to share a photo of himself with Daesung and G-Dragon, captioned, “THE LIGHT YEAR IN SEOUL.”Meanwhile, G-Dragon also shared a playful video of Taeyang and Daesung, commenting, “Wow! You’re adorable.”G-Dragon further displayed his affection towards Taeyang by posting a photo of the two embracing and writing, “My love.”

This was Taeyang’s first solo concert in approximately 7 years, following his “TAEYANG 2017 WORLD TOUR WHITE NIGHT IN SEOUL.”

The concert became even more significant once GD and Daesung reunited on stage and performed together after a prolonged period. Fans were thrilled to see BIGBANG back together and expressed their desire for a comeback, showing immense excitement at the reunion.
