The most recent episode of the popular entertainment program “2 Days & 1 Night”aired on June 9th and garnered attention for its low ratings, despite featuring the popular girl group NewJeans as guests. Additionally, a video of actor Na In-woo went viral on TikTok, amassing 1.1 million views. The video, which showcased moments of Na In-woo and NewJeans’s Danielle on the show, also sparked controversy.

In the video, Na In-woo openly expressed his excitement upon meeting Danielle. He playfully teased the female idol and even invited her to participate in a food choosing game. Their interactions were adored by many viewers, who commented on the charming sibling-like dynamic between Na In-woo and Danielle. However, others raised concerns over Na In-woo’s exuberance while interacting with Danielle.
Despite some fans expressing frustration over the reactions of NewJeans members when Na In-woo playfully teased Danielle and some claiming that he was flirting with her, supporters of the show “2 Days & 1 Night”argued that Na In-woo was simply trying to create a friendly atmosphere. They encouraged others to watch the full broadcast in order to fully understand the situation, rather than making assumptions based on short clips.
In fact, both Na In-woo and Danielle were considered the weakest players on their respective teams. After Na In-woo discovered that he was not the only one struggling with games, he teased Danielle. However, the members of NewJeans defended Danielle, not wanting Na In-woo’s bad luck to affect her as well.
