TikTok, similar to various other social media services, offers users the ability to “like” posts. But how can you locate all the videos you’ve given a thumbs up to on TikTok?
While likes are fantastic for enhancing your visibility or providing a confidence boost, showing appreciation for others’ content is also an excellent method to save and organize some of your favorite clips.
Locating Your Liked Videos on TikTok
Liking a video not only provides the creator with much-appreciated validation but also adds that video to your personal collection of liked content. This way, you can revisit your favorite clips whenever you’d like.
To access your saved list of liked videos, just follow these steps:
- First, log into your TikTok account using your mobile device, since you need an account to keep track of your liked videos.
- Next, tap the ‘Me’ tab located in the bottom right corner of your display.
- Your posted videos will be visible first; to view your liked content, simply tap the heart icon found on the far right.
- Now you can enjoy watching all your favorite clips as much as you want!
Reasons for Liked Videos Not Appearing on TikTok Desktop
If you’ve liked videos, they should be accessible on your desktop, similar to how they are on your mobile device. However, if they’re not showing up, consider the possibility of website glitches, connectivity challenges, or changes made to your privacy settings that might be concealing your liked videos.
Giving a Like to a Video on TikTok
To like a video in the app, all you need to do is tap the heart-shaped icon on the right side of the video. When the heart turns red, it indicates that you’ve successfully liked the video. Alternatively, you can double-tap the screen until you see a heart appear and the side icon turns red.
If you accidentally liked a video, just tap the red heart icon again, and it will revert to its original outline.
