Vince McMahon Documentary Reveals Controversial WWE Incest Storyline Involving His Daughter

Vince McMahon once proposed a highly controversial WWE storyline involving his character, Mr. McMahon, impregnating his daughter, Stephanie McMahon.

Netflix’s documentary series, Mr. McMahon, is a six-part exploration of the iconic wrestling figure’s ascent and decline, chronicling how he transformed WWE into a global powerhouse before stepping down amid allegations of sex trafficking and assault.

This series highlights McMahon’s relentless ambition to overshadow competitors, often pushing boundaries in the process. This was particularly evident during the famed Attitude Era, considered the peak of the company’s pop culture influence, which featured some of the most outrageous moments on live television (such as Undertaker throwing Mankind off the cage).

While many of McMahon’s ideas were innovative and successful, not all were gold (*cough* No Holds Barred *cough*), especially one storyline that crossed a significant line.

In the documentary, when asked if there were storylines she had refused, Stephanie replied, “Yeah, there were a couple… but yeah, I’m not going to tell that one.”

Vince interjected, sharing, “So, one of my storyline ideas was Stephanie gets pregnant, and I think, I think, I was the one who impregnated her, my character. No, that one didn’t make it.”

Stephanie recounted her earlier experiences discussing this idea, stating, “My dad did approach me about wanting to be the father of my baby in a storyline for TV, which is only the second time I’ve ever actually said no to him for something he wanted to do.

“That one was just a little too gross actually. It’s completely disgusting. I don’t find the entertainment value in it at all. And he is actually my father, so how could I even play that out?”

Additionally, McMahon suggested that Stephanie and Triple H’s actual wedding could be turned into a pay-per-view event, an idea they both declined.

During a 2003 live event, he controversially stated to Stephanie, “I stole your innocence from you, almost as if – even though I didn’t – I personally deflowered you.”
