VPR Stars Katie & Ariana’s Grand Opening Tainted by Major Tech Issue

Despite facing technological issues, Ariana and Katie’s grand opening for Something About Her was still a success.

The grand opening of Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, took place on May 22.

The ‘Green Goddess’ sandwich at the restaurant in West Hollywood, California was so popular that fans were lining up around the corner to try it.

Despite their excitement to welcome the public, Ariana and Katie were forced to inform the line of customers waiting outside that their Point of Sale system (POS) was not functioning.

A point of sale (POS) device is utilized to input orders, which are then transmitted to the kitchen. After the meal is finished, the POS calculates the total cost of the order.

In a popular video from the beginning of their business, the two owners emerged from their establishment and were met with enthusiastic cheers from their supporters.

Ariana delivered the unfortunate news. “Today, our POS system has suddenly decided to stop working.”

Despite the groans from the crowd, Ariana reassured them that their orders would still be fulfilled. She explained that they were proceeding cautiously to avoid any incorrect or charged orders.

Katie remained by her side as Ariana addressed everyone, requesting their patience as they implemented a policy of only allowing one or two people into their shop at a time.

The viral clip received a positive response from fans who shared their support for the technological issues mentioned in the comments.

One fan enthusiastically applauded, “They will do great! Our girls have our full support.”

“Starting a business is no easy feat! The first day is bound to have some challenges, but it’s nothing we can’t handle,”another person exclaimed.

One supporter went as far as to say that it would be unfair to blame Ariana and Katie for the technical mishap, as these types of incidents are not uncommon in the food industry.

Despite facing a minor setback, fans were ultimately able to enjoy a meal at Something About Her during its grand opening.

Despite concerns about the small portions of their sandwiches, which gained attention after their posts went viral on Instagram, the general agreement is that Ariana and Katie’s opening was a success.
