VShojo has recently announced their newest addition to their expanding line-up of vtuber personalities, and it didn’t take long for fans to discover that she is the third former member of Nijisanji to join the agency.
On April 21, 2024, Michi Mochievee made her debut as the sixteenth member and twelfth active member of VShojo.
As soon as she made her debut, viewers quickly recognized the purple-haired vtuber as an ex-Nijisanji star from a previous life. To be more precise, Michi Mochievee is the reincarnation of Mika Melatika, who used to be the most subscribed talent of Nijisanji ID before graduating in December 2023.
With Michi’s addition, VShojo now welcomes its third former Nijisanji talent to its roster. She follows in the footsteps of Matara Kan, previously known as Nina Kosaka, and Kuro Kurenai, formerly known as Mysta Rias, who have both graduated from Nijisanji.
The addition of Michi as a member of VShojo was not unexpected, as she had previously made cameo appearances on other streams before her official debut. Additionally, she shares the same character designer as Mika and even mentioned not having a YouTube Play button, a complaint that has been echoed by several former Nijisanji members. However, Claude Clawmark of 9th Wave has denied these claims.
It is not surprising that Michi Mochievee has experienced significant growth, with 53,000 followers on Twitch and 40,000 subscribers on YouTube. Additionally, her debut stream on Twitch has already reached 539,000 views in just one day.
Despite not being as explosive, Michi’s early accomplishments share similarities with those of Dokibird, previously known as Selen Tatsuki. Within a mere 24 hours of returning to her alternate account, Dokibird achieved an impressive 250,000 subscribers. These success stories demonstrate that vtubers can leave a major agency and still flourish, whether as a solo talent or within a different agency.
