How To Play

Waffle may appear more complex than other word-based daily puzzles, but once you understand the concept, it becomes a lot of fun and very easy to play.

You will start with a scrambled grid of letters shaped like a waffle, containing a total of six words to decipher. The colors of the tiles provide clues: a green tile indicates the letter is correctly placed, a yellow tile signifies it is in the word but needs to be repositioned, and a grey tile means the letter is not part of the current word.

Each game allows for only fifteen moves, so you must use your attempts wisely to unscramble the words efficiently. For every move you have in reserve when the words are correct, you earn a star.

All games can be solved within a minimum of ten moves. If you exhaust all fifteen moves without completing the puzzle, you’ve taken too long for that day’s challenge. If that happens, don’t worry; use the experience gained to tackle the next day’s puzzle.
