When players explore Facility 3826, Atomic Heart is full with mysteries for them to complete. Gamers take on the role of a tough Soviet soldier known as P-3. As he wanders around the facility’s wrecked laboratories, his glove is outfitted with a variety of beneficial powers.
The first stages of Atomic Heart take place underground in the Vavilov Complex. To exit the complex, players must get four distinct canisters and connect them to the Birchtree. One of these Canisters may be earned by completing the “Into the Flames” quest. This tutorial will help you complete the Boiler Room challenge and obtain the Heat-Resistant Canister from the Hot Workshop.
The Boiler Room
The Boiler Room has three distinct boilers that must be cooled. A few critically injured white jumpsuit-wearing VOV-A6 opponents must be destroyed.
Cryogenic Candles
A busted boiler filled with bright blue spheres sits on one side of the room. Pick one up using the glove’s telekinesis.
Place the Candle in the Pipes
Take the Candle into the back maintenance room. Bringing a candle close to the pipe will cause it to be vacuumed away.
Candles should be guided through pipes.
Return to the maintenance room and discover the candle floating in the pipe on the opposite side of the wall. Use glove telekinesis to guide the candle through the pipe system to a boiler.
Boiler No. 1
- At the first junction, direct the torch to the right.
- At the second junction, direct the flame to the right.
The candle will cool and lose its orange light as it reaches the boiler. The soundtrack should change to a gloomy tone, signaling that additional foes will emerge from the doors placed around the chamber. Dispatch them and take another candle to re-enter the pipes.
Boiler No. 2
- At the first junction, direct the torch to the left.
- At the second junction, direct the candle to the left.
Enemies will respawn, so put them down and grab another candle.
Boiler No. 3
- At the first junction, direct the torch to the left.
- Drop the candle at the second junction.
- At the third junction, move the candle away from the wall.
This will cool down all of the boilers, allowing them to leave the heated workshop at an acceptable temperature.
Visit the Hot Workshop.
To reach the Hot Workshop, take the stairwells at either end of the Boiler Room. The goal marker will bring players out into the workshop, where the canister sits on an elevated platform.
Ascend the Forklift
A broken loader bot is lying on the workshop floor. It will lift its forks twice in a row. Hop on the forks, then wait for the second lift to the hanging platform.
To reach the canister, jump up and across all of them.
Take out the canister and return to the Birchtree. Putting it in the slot will allow you to explore further of the Vavilov Complex.
