Over the years, there have been multiple viral videos of Walmart’s birthday cakes making their way around TikTok. In a recent incident, a woman discovered a comical error in her order when the chain made a significant mistake.
The directions for the cake were clearly stated in her order, with the instruction “Aries Baby”written in small, cursive letters and placed in the center of the cake. However, the bakers seemed to have taken the instructions a bit too literally, as they proceeded to write them out verbatim on the cake.
Recently, a different woman gained widespread attention when she bought a vintage-inspired cake from Walmart, but this time it was for a positive and noteworthy cause.
The vintage heart cake has gained immense popularity in 2024, as evidenced by the numerous reels and TikToks featuring them on various social media platforms. These cakes are referred to as “vintage”or “retro”due to their long-standing existence, dating back several centuries. They are renowned for their elaborate and intricately piped decorations, inspired by the opulent and ornate French Rococo style of the 1700s.
Due to the extensive amount of time required to decorate these types of cakes, they are often priced at a higher rate. Independent bakers typically charge a minimum of $125 for their services.
As a result, TikToker Dynastinichelle has gained popularity by snagging one of these items from Walmart for a mere $17.98.

The cake, designed in a heart shape, was white with edible pearls and intricate piping. On the center of the cake, the words “Aries Angel”were written in cursive.
“According to Dynastinichelle, I placed the order on Thursday morning and the cake was ready by 2:30 PM on Friday. She advised against spending money on a cake, stating that this cake only cost $17.98.”
Despite the video reaching 1 million views, the low price continues to astound many.
“The girl commented that it looks exactly like the one she received for her birthday, which cost $80. It was clear that she was impressed.”
“She has such skill as a cake decorator! Someone suggested she open her own business,”another person added.
One person wrote in, asking, “How did you manage to make the cake heart-shaped? I am attempting to personalize my sister’s cake, but I am only seeing options for circular shapes. Could you please assist me?”
Despite being categorized as a ‘custom cake,’ the heart shape is not listed as an available choice on the store’s website. Therefore, if you wish to acquire one, you must personally visit the store, as Dynastinichelle did.
The range of prices for the customizable cakes at Walmart varies from $15.98 to $68.76, depending on the size.
