Warzone anti-cheat is currently “disabled” according to cheat creators

Cheating is a constant problem in Warzone, and while it’s taking over Ranked mode, some hackers are claiming that the anti-cheat system is currently disabled.

Cheating in Warzone, or in Call of Duty in general, has unfortunately become a daily habit for all players.

Clips of cheats appear every day on social media, and Warzone is the main target of this scourge, with cheaters carrying out supernatural absurdities.

The most recent wave of cheats showed players teleporting helicopters out of the playable space. Ricochet, Call of Duty’s anti-cheat system, is supposed to help combat this and many other forms of cheating, but for many fans, this system falls short.

And recently, as new cheat clips emerged on Twitter, a Discord group of cheat creators revealed that RICOCHET had been disabled by the developers.

Warzone cheaters claim anti-cheat is currently disabled

Warzone streamer Lenun recently shared his unfortunate experience with cheaters in a game of Resurgence Ranked, where he and his team came face to face with a hacker using an aimbot on his grenade launcher.

In response to this clip, ModernWarzone responded: “How come this guy is cheating and still in the top 250?? HELLO RICOCHET?!?!?”, which led to an interesting response in the form of a screenshot from a Discord group stating: “Activision has disabled Anti Cheat for a limited time.”

The screenshot in question comes from a cheat provider, and while it is impossible to verify whether this is true or not, this message is definitely a cause for concern for all Call of Duty players.
