Warzone cheaters are invading your games with mad helicopters

Cheaters continue to plague Warzone ‘s player base, with their latest exploit involving helicopters teleporting out of the planet’s atmosphere, making them impossible to take on. As the latest cheat gains momentum, fans have expressed their frustration with the developers’ inaction.

Cheating in Warzone is nothing new. The battle royale has been besieged by the issue for some time. Warzone players have seen aim bots, spin bots, tracking through walls, and even immunity to stuns and flashes.

Now, with the latest exploit hitting the servers, cheaters are flying helicopters outside the planet’s atmosphere, and still managing to take out entire enemy squads from the edge of the earth. Without any ability to target helicopters, rule-abiding players are left to suffer defeat.

Warzone’s anti-cheat system, Ricochet, is supposed to detect and punish cheaters — but players feel like it’s not doing enough to tackle the problem recently. “Ricochet is one of the worst anti-cheats on the market!» reads the thread’s most popular comment. He also claims that there are older anti-cheat features that could fix the issues Warzone is having. “There is often no need for sophisticated kernel-level anti-cheat. the user said, expressing frustration over the recurring problem.

Ricochet has in fact implemented a wave of account bans recently. But it seems that hasn’t deterred those willing to purchase and use cheats in the game.

“I just think the cheating has gotten too big to fail now,” one player said. Adding that cheaters can hack for months before “even receiving a shadow ban.”»

“At some point this game is just going to be software fighting other software and the “player” will be holding the controller pretending they are playing the game…” another lamented.

While others were more cynical: “Cheaters buy skins and battle passes, why would they ban them?»

While Activision and Infinity Ward have said they are committed to cracking down on cheaters, it seems fans don’t have a lot of faith that they will deliver on that promise.
