Warzone devs respond to major MW3 sniper issue making you miss shots

The arrival of the MORS Sniper Rifle in Season 3 has resulted in its dominance in Warzone and MW3. However, the developers have had to address an aiming malfunction that was causing players to miss simple shots.

Despite the addition of numerous new weapons in MW3 and Warzone Season 3, the MORS stands out as the most popular among players. This Advanced Warfare Sniper Rifle has quickly become a top choice in both games, but its introduction has not been without challenges.

The developers have addressed an issue with the optic of the weapon, as players have been experiencing missed shots that they believe should have hit their target.

“According to a post on X (formerly Twitter), the developers have acknowledged a problem causing a minor misalignment in the MORS Sniper Rifle’s optics. This may result in shots that seem to be on target, missing their mark.”

The statement mentioned that a solution for the issue is “planned”to be included in a “forthcoming game update.”However, a specific timeline for the release of the patch was not provided.

If the optic is misaligned, the targeted area where a player is aiming won’t align with the bullet’s actual trajectory upon firing. As a result, a headshot that is precisely aimed may hit the target lower than intended or completely miss them.

Despite its aiming issues, the MORS has regained its popularity in both MW3 and Warzone. Its lightweight design has made it a popular choice in multiplayer, and its ability to deliver one-shot kills has made it a dominant force on Urzisktan and Rebirth Island.

Following the release of the update and the subsequent fix of the optic alignment, it should come as no surprise if the product experiences a surge in popularity in the upcoming weeks.

There is currently no official announcement on the patch’s release date, but players anticipate it to come out sooner rather than later. Many also predict a significant nerf for the Renetti Pistol.
