Players of Call of Duty: Warzone have unearthed an intriguing glitch that allows them to apply weapon camos from Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) to guns featured in Black Ops 6 (BO6). This discovery has sparked excitement among the gaming community, as it bridges content from two popular entries in the franchise.

The recent integration of Warzone with Black Ops 6 introduced a variety of new weaponry and camouflage challenges for players, alongside an exclusive mastery camo available only in Warzone. Meanwhile, weapons from both Modern Warfare 2 and 3 remain accessible in Warzone, maintaining their status as top choices in the current meta with unique attachments and camo options.

While players are generally unable to mix Old School camos with the latest BO6 weaponry, a workaround involving a glitch in private matches has been discovered. This technique enables players to sport MW3 camos on their preferred Black Ops weapons, adding an extra layer of customization.

Steps to Execute the MW3 Camo Glitch

This glitch was initially brought to light by bubs on Twitter/X. It is essential to note that this exploit works solely with MW3 event camos and excludes prestige camos. Due to its glitchy nature, it remains susceptible to future patches. To successfully perform this glitch, you’ll need a friend to assist you. Follow these steps:

Launch Warzone and initiate a private match.
In your primary loadout slot, select the BO6 weapon that you wish to customize with the MW3 camo.
Next, join your friend’s lobby (make sure it’s not a private match).
Access the first loadout slot and choose any MW3 weapon that has the desired event camo.
Rapidly press the camo equip button while instructing your friend to switch back to the Private Match lobby in Warzone.
Your friend should then exit the private match lobby.
Return to the first loadout slot and apply a prestige camo on the MW3 weapon. Continue to tap the equip button as your friend re-enters a private match.
Once you join the private match and navigate to the first loadout slot, you should observe the BO6 weapon now displaying the event camo.
To finalize, add an attachment to your weapon, which will ensure that you can utilize it in regular Warzone matches.
