Warzone gets first-ever Mastery Camo grind with Black Ops 6 Season 1

With the release of a new Call of Duty game comes a new camo grind. What’s different this time is that Warzone weapons will now have their own Mastery Camos in the first season of Black Ops 6.

It’s expected that Black Ops 6 and Zombies will introduce new Mastery Camos to unlock, as this has been a longstanding tradition in the franchise. However, Warzone has yet to have its own dedicated grind.

In the past, special camos have been available to unlock through events and challenges. However, for the very first time, players will have the opportunity to unlock four Mastery Camos through challenges – Gold Tiger, King’s Ransom, Catalyst, and Abyss.

The Season 1 update for Warzone brings all of Black Ops 6’s weapons, as well as omnimovement, the Area 99 Resurgence map, and numerous quality of life improvements. This marks the start of the grind for players.

In the past, Warzone-only players found it nearly impossible to obtain Mastery Camos. However, thanks to Black Ops 6, they will now have access to a camo grind specifically designed for the modes they enjoy.

However, the level of difficulty in grinding camos in Warzone may vary depending on the types of challenges. It is expected that it will be more challenging compared to other game modes. Unlike multiplayer or Zombies, there may not be as much constant action and the biggest concern is not being able to obtain the desired weapon for leveling up.

The exact functioning of the system is still unknown, however, anticipate a challenging and time-consuming process – especially for those who strive to collect all multiplayer and Zombies’ camos simultaneously.

It is currently unknown if the update will include a new camo grind for MW2 and MW3 weapons, but it is possible that it will be added at a later time.

In the previous year, the pre-season for Modern Warfare 3 lasted for three weeks before the release of the Season 1 update. Although a few dedicated players may have completed the multiplayer or Zombies grind before the integration with Warzone, you will need to decide which aspect to focus on once the games are integrated.
