Warzone left ‘broken’ as Akimbo glitch gives Handgun fastest TTK in the game

The current meta in Warzone has been significantly impacted by a recently discovered Akimbo glitch, which has given the COR-45 Handgun a significantly faster time to kill (TTK) than any other weapon in the game.

Just like in any other competitive FPS, it is crucial to improve your TTK in Warzone. Throughout its four-year existence, we have witnessed a variety of crazy loadouts and bizarre bugs that affect TTK, but this is simply a normal part of the game.

Despite a new bug potentially pushing it even further, the CoD BR may have just experienced its quickest TTK to date thanks to a wild Akimbo glitch.

On August 14, JGOD was one of the first to discover a bug that quickly spread throughout the game. As a result, players from all platforms are criticizing the game as “broken”and “ruined”until Activision provides a solution.

“According to ZLaner, the COR-45 Akimbo glitch has caused chaos in Warzone, as evidenced by a short clip showcasing the malfunctioning setup.”

The Akimbo weapons shredded through anything in close to mid-range, mowing down multiple enemies in mere moments. The enemies had barely a fraction of a second to react, let alone start firing back.

It has become clear that the content creators did not intend to do so, but they have still demonstrated how they can manipulate Warzone’s loadout system to combine modifications on the COR-45 Handgun that are not intended to be used together.

To start off, players must access the loadout screen and equip the COR-45 Handgun. They can also choose to equip other Blueprints for the weapon. Once in the loadout screen, players should deselect all attachments on the gun to leave it completely blank.

First, navigate to the Rear Grip slot and choose the Akimbo option. After that, scroll down to the Conversion Kit section on the screen. Although the XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit may appear locked, there is currently a bug that allows you to still equip it.

It seems that this glitch only works when using a mouse as your input device. Users playing with a controller do not seem to be experiencing the same success in exploiting it in Warzone.

Once you successfully pass this step, you will have the ability to add any other attachments of your choice to further enhance the build.

You also have the opportunity to dominate your lobbies using this obviously overpowered loadout until a solution is released. As of writing, Activision has not made any statements regarding the flaw, but we will keep you informed of any new updates.
