The new JAK Deathmarch Aftermarket Part has already been disabled in Call of Duty: Warzone’s August 28 update.
The intent of the Warzone Season 5 update was to add the Jak Deathmarch Conversion Kit to the game, specifically designed for use with the BAL-27 assault rifle.
Although the aftermarket part was added in the popular battle royale’s Wednesday, August 28 patch, players will currently be unable to use it. According to the patch notes, Activision has confirmed that the JAK Deathmarch has been disabled due to an issue.
The Conversion Kit may not be available for a temporary period of time. However, developers have not specified when Call of Duty users can expect it to be fully integrated into the experience.
This unique Aftermarket Part stands out for its ability to substitute traditional ammunition with high-voltage power cells and replace the standard barrel of an assault rifle with a photonic scatter barrel.
Ultimately, this kit features the BAL-27 rifle that shoots lethal laser blasts for close-range combat.
The JAK Deathmarch completely overhauls the BAL-27
Although Activision has temporarily removed Warzone’s JAK Deathmarch from gameplay, players are still able to earn it through completing a set of Week 6 challenges within the game.
In order to transform their BAL-27 into a laser-firing weapon, Warzone players must successfully complete at least five of the Week 6 challenges. These challenges include tasks such as completing 15 Contracts, obtaining 5 Operator Kills or Kill Assists, and opening 20 Loot Caches in any of the four regions: North, West, East, or South.
The August 28 update for Call of Duty: Warzone included patch notes mentioning the removal of C4 from Ranked Play matches by the developers.
The release notes also mention numerous bug fixes, including one that resolves a brief issue where players were able to duplicate various items such as Gas Masks and Precision Airstrike Killstreaks.
