Warzone players are frustrated by MW2’s weapon impotence on Urzikstan

When Warzone launched as part of Modern Warfare (2019), the Battle Royale only used weapons and gear from that title. However, this has evolved over time.

Over the course of the various Call of Duty game releases, Warzone has become an amalgamation of different titles. Weapons, equipment, and even perks from different games were mixed together, which understandably frustrated some players.

This was also the case with the Modern Warfare 3 update, with popular weapons from Modern Warfare 2 being deemed “unusable” as they were not adjusted to the newer game’s new health values and gameplay changes.

Warzone players are exhausted by the uselessness of MW2 weapons

While some MW2 weapons have been strengthened in the recent Season 1 Reloaded update, fans are still not satisfied.

While some would like to see them removed completely, others simply want to eliminate them from floor loot.

“Since the launch of MW3, it has been clear that MW2’s weapons are no match for MW3’s arsenal. In fact, it’s blatantly obvious that in most cases, using these weapons puts you at a distinct disadvantage,” complains one player.

“Each crate almost always contains a sniper or shotgun. It’s awful” adds another fan. “Being forced to use MW2 weapons for ground loot is a punishment,” added another.

While some players suggest buffing these weapons to upgrade them from MW3’s weapons, others would like to see them confined to their own limited-time mode.

“Buff them up to make them as strong as Modern Warfare 3 weapons and then increase the base health to 250 for Single Player,” suggests one player.

Given that the developers made some changes to MW2’s weapons in the last update, it’s not impossible that more changes can be expected in the future.

However, it is unlikely that these weapons will be able to match MW3’s weapons.
