Warzone players are furious about Update Reloaded Season 1: “It’s time to stop this game”

Since the release of the Reloaded Season 1 update of Warzone which completely “broke” the game, players have threatened to leave en masse.

The Season 1 Update Reloaded was initially supposed to introduce many new features in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 and, of course, rebalancing the game after weeks where certain weapons dominated the meta.

While this all sounded great on paper, it quickly became clear that this update may have done more harm than good.

In just a few hours, players were reporting all kinds of issues breaking the game’s balance, leading the developers to quickly change course. Various features have been disabled while things like MW3’s Ranked mode have been hit by major delays.

All of these events have led to real anger from the community who have now had enough, threatening to leave the game en masse.

“I’m fed up” started a long rant titled “It’s time for us to stop” on Reddit.

“I’m tired of broken updates. This crappy patch pushed me over the edge. It’s like no one runs this shit and ever plays the game.”

From supply drops simply not working, to class creation refusing to work as intended, many players have called Season 1 Reloaded the “worst update.”

For some, this seems to have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. “Fuck this broken game, I’m out,” said one player.

“Are they testing updates?” asks another Warzone player. “Are they even playing their own game? Everything in the game is broken. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

For now, the developers appear to be working to fix the most damaging issues, with frequent communication on the game’s social media channels. Although for some, this may be too little or too late.
