Warzone players are furious with developers Raven Software as the latest playlist update has once again removed a fan-favorite mode, leading many to no longer want to play.
With each playlist update in Warzone, certain modes are added or removed in an effort to keep the game fresh. This could mean modes like Mini BR and Plunder being added, while modes like Lockdown or Resurgence Quartet are removed.
Although each change will displease some players, it usually does not affect a large portion of the player base.
This time, however, they’ve removed BR Duos, one of the game’s most popular modes — and players aren’t happy.
Warzone removes battle royale duos
In the February 22 playlist update, Duos were removed from the regular Battle Royale rotation, leaving only Solos, Trios, and Quartets.
Instead, duos will only be available in Resurgence and Mini BR, much to the dismay of players.
One player said he was “pissed off” that Duos were being removed, while others called it “ridiculous” since they mostly play BR Duos.

On Reddit, people were also annoyed. “That was one of the things I was really glad they stopped doing,” Penthakee said. “I almost always play duos with a friend, I don’t care about any other game modes, resurgences, events, special modes. Well, let’s wait until next week then, I guess.”

The most popular comment on the post called the developers “stupid motherf**kers.”
With hundreds of comments all over the internet and BR Duos out of the rotation for two weeks now, Raven may be forced to change plans and give in to pressure from their players, especially if they see their player numbers drop.
After these two weeks, Season 2 Reloaded is expected, so we might see the return of Duos as well as other more significant changes to the overall game.
