Winners of the World Series of Warzone, Shifty, Hisoka, and DiazBiffle, claimed that their rivals at the $1 million tournament in Las Vegas were “scared”to confront them for the championship title, following yet another commanding victory.
The talented ‘SSD’ trio, representing Team Falcons at both the Esports World Cup and the World Series of Warzone, has been a dominant force in the Call of Duty battle royale scene over the past year.
They have consistently triumphed in nearly every tournament, typically by substantial margins, facing almost no serious competition in Urzikstan.
This trend continued at the WSOW finals in Las Vegas, where they reached match point, needing just one more map victory to secure the tournament win.
As predicted, they landed effectively and clinched the victory in that map, although the experience lacked the expected drama since none of their opponents attempted to land near them and disrupt their gameplay, thus prolonging the tournament.
In a post-game interview, the triumphant trio attributed this to fear and their commanding “aura.”
“They’re scared,” declared Hisoka, while Shifty remarked that their “aura”was the reason no one dared to engage them at Popov Power.
None of the 39 other teams at the World Series of Warzone chose to land on Team Falcons even after they were at match point and only 1 win away from winning the whole tournament. While Team Falcons has undoubtedly become the most formidable trio in Warzone history, squads featuring prominent players such as Aydan, Swagg, and ScummN exerted their efforts to apply pressure on the eventual champions.
Expectations were high for Falcons to be surrounded by competing teams during their final map, particularly from those in the 21st to 40th positions who had nothing to lose and everything to gain from a challenge.
However, the trio was able to land without any hindrance, allowing them to loot completely in preparation for the late-game scenarios.
Prior to the tournament, DiazBiffle had hinted at his intention to retire after the World Series event, but he reconsidered those plans as the cheers from the crowd and the vibrant lights captivated him.
It’s clear that these three will continue their partnership into Black Ops 6, and unless a significant shift occurs, they will once again instill fear in the hearts of their competitors.
