Warzone Season 2 introduced new content with huge changes to some important elements of the game like health regeneration.
Across Warzone and Modern Warfare, gameplay changes from new updates like Season 2 include changes to killstreaks, weapons, combat buffs and more.
However, the biggest change in this new update may well be that of player health regeneration during games.
Since the launch of Season 1, the community hasn’t really been a fan of TTK, and that’s why the developers have decided to make changes that will hopefully satisfy everyone.
A major change to health regeneration in Warzone
The developers have reduced the healing time after taking damage from 6 seconds, down from 7 seconds. This should allow players to be able to fully recover from one fight and then be ready for the next one without feeling penalized for winning a close duel.
Players’ base health regeneration rate has also been massively increased. Previously, health regenerated at 40 health per second. In Season 2, health will now regenerate at 50 health per second.
“After reviewing the engagement data, we estimated that it was possible to reduce the regeneration delay and increase the regeneration time, representing a total change of 1.75 seconds in the regeneration process. As a reminder, the Survivor perk sets the regeneration delay to 4 seconds, which is also more interesting with the regeneration change above” said the developers.
It remains to be seen how these changes will impact players’ gameplay in the weeks to come.
